Insights from phd research

Within our ๐‘๐„2๐๐€๐‚๐Š research project, Maike Loos and Kyenno Scheepers are generating valuable insights through their PhD research.

Maike recently conducted an ๐ž๐ฒ๐ž-๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ examining how visual signs of use on reusable packaging influence consumersโ€™ emotional responses. Participants were shown images of reusable containers with and without signs of use, alongside emotion-eliciting visuals. The findings help deepen our understanding of how consumers perceive and emotionally respond to reusable packaging.

At Delft University of Technology, Kyenno is exploring Through interviews and questionnaires with both consumers and experts, his research compares perspectives on packaging and the system as a whole. By identifying similarities and differences between these groups, the study provides insights that can support the development of more widely accepted return systems.
