Twenty students from the Master Urban Technology (Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences) have started working on an assignment directly linked to the research project #RE2PACK – Revolutionary Reusable Packaging.

The Assignment
Develop an integrated proposal for an innovative collection and return system for reusable packaging for soft fruit in a selected neighbourhoud in Amsterdam. They demonstrated how this solution could be implemented within the next five years to ensure the efficient and effective return and reuse of reusable packaging.
Key Considerations
– Spatial and logistical integration in the city
– Financial feasibility for all involved stakeholders
– Impact on and role of citizens (both as consumers and residents)
– Environmental impact compared to single-use packaging
We are excited to see the insights and solutions this group will develop and what we can learn from them.
